Welcome to our 18th Holiday Home Tour!
The 5 beautiful homes on the 2012 Magnolia Holiday Tour of Homes have each been meticulously and lovingly decorated to reflect the unique personalities and traditions of their owners. They include:
A small bungalow, which has been completely renovated to create a hidden haven in the middle of the city. An "all natural Christmas" is designed from greens, berries and ornaments gathered and crafted from the owners' magnificent garden. Be sure not to miss the unique door to the bathroom!
A traditional East Coast home brought to life with color and imagination. Each room is decorated in the classic Colonial Williamsburg style. A candle in every window is always a part of the holiday decorations. What was once hidden behind overgrown shrubs and ivy now stands majestically on the hill.
A completely rebuilt house, spacious enough for all the children and grandchildren to come for the holidays. Large rooms, high ceilings, impressive moldings and a huge kitchen reflect the owners' love of
southern hospitality.
A boulevard home, which works well for a young family with teenagers, showcases elegant spaces and a slightly contemporary feel. Holiday decorations have been created with fun and flair.
The second floor master suite is the parents' quiet refuge.
An ultra contemporary residence, designed by award winning architect Eric Cobb, has a sweeping view of Elliott Bay and Mount Rainer. The cantilevered master bedroom
will take your breath away.
